Andy DeAngelo, Youngest Independent Filmmaker?

A 15 year old teenager, from Utica, New York, may be the youngest Independent Filmmaker yet. There have been many teenage filmmakers in the past, but DeAngelo is currently working on his first feature length film, which has been a big topic in the music and film world. DeAngelo has taken his love for Filmmaking and his love for the band "My Chemical Romance" and put the two together. He is making a film based on the concept of the bands first album "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love", the films title has been shortened to just "Bullets". Over 300 people have commented on the film idea since DeAngelo announced it in mid July 2010. The Film is expected to be released on DVD January 11th, 2011.

DeAngelo has also made 10 short films in the past 2 years. Teenagers have made feature length films in the past, but none of which have been spoken more of in such a short amount of time.

DeAngelo has also been nominated for a award in Central New York, the awards will take place in fall 2010.

He has also auditioned for a main part in the Hollywood film "We Bought a Zoo".
