How to Speak Your Article
Never let writing an article be an obstacle. The crucial thing is to get your wisdom down on paper as quickly as you can and move on. You may enjoy the process of getting your ideas down on paper. Or the process of writing may be an obstacle to you.
If the writing process itself is your constraint, then find another way to produce your article. You need to be taking action and if one approach doesn't work for you, try another approach. But never stand still. Be determined to share your knowledge and don't let the writing process hold you back.
If you talk better than you write, use this to your advantage. There are a number of effective strategies for you to use. After all, you will have enough to do running your business and helping your customers.
- Get together with someone who writes better than they talk! Explain to them exactly what you want to go in your article and ask them to get it on paper for you. You can review their work and post it on Fylko.
- Ask someone to interview you about a particular subject and record the conversation. You will then have enough information for someone to create an article. This article can either be in a question and answer format or in a format under headings that relate to the questions you were asked.
- Speak your article, instead of writing it. You may be someone who freezes as soon as you see a blank sheet of paper but who can talk intelligently about your topic until the cows come home. If you enjoy speaking in this way, simply record what you want to say. Try to keep going for thirty minutes and you may have enough information for several articles. You can then either get your words transcribed. There are many excellent transcription services available. Or you can ask someone to make articles out of your words for you. There are always people who love doing this work, leaving you free to share your knowledge and then get back to enhancing your customer experience or making sales.
The point I'm making here is that you should never get hung up on this stuff. Producing valuable articles and sharing your knowledge is a job that has to be done but you don't have to lose sleep over this or make a mountain out of a molehill. If writing is an obstacle to you, find a way round it and keep moving forward. You must value your time and your knowledge and use your time in the most productive way possible.
Always believe in the value of what you do. Your articles should flow from your wish to share your knowledge and experience with others in any way that makes sense for you.
